The first Steilmann retail store was opened in 1993 in GUM, thus
creating a basis for the Steilmann brand in Russian.

Steilmann quickly became well known and was soon a ‘must-have’ item in every modern working Russian woman’s closet.

In 2004, the store was redesign and renovated. Currently, there are three flagship stores in GUM with Steilmann Osteuropa collections: “Steilmann”, “Apanage”, and “Stones”.
